Amy Sankes serves as senior director of development for The Ringling, bringing more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and institutional advancement. Throughout her career, she has been guided by a core belief that development professionals are bridge builders—connecting individuals to purpose and aligning philanthropic vision with the long-term needs of the institutions they support.
In her role at The Ringling, Amy partners with donors and stakeholders to cultivate meaningful, values-driven philanthropy that sustains both immediate priorities and enduring institutional growth. Her work spans major gifts, donor engagement, and legacy giving, with a strong emphasis on fostering relationships rooted in trust, shared purpose, and long-term impact.
Amy is deeply committed to preserving cultural and educational institutions for future generations.
